A well-managed establishment, with dedicated staff and a keen sense of business, set in a place steeped in history. For €100, including two meals and a night’s stay, the value is truly remarkable. They have clearly mastered yield management, commercial strategy, and the art of delivering exceptional value to their guests—bravo! The room is spacious enough for a short stay, the bed and bedding are exceptionally comfortable, and it offers everything one could expect from an establishment of this standing. It’s unpretentious yet full of life! The evening meal is simple but generous, while the breakfast is hearty and diverse, rivalling higher-category establishments. The warmth and professionalism of the staff are undeniable. Coupled with a mythical building, this is an experience that exceeds expectations.

From first to last impressions, I enjoyed almost everything about my stay. The historic building—it was originally a bank—has been sympathetically converted into a lovely hotel. The rooms have high ceilings, windows that open, well-sized bathrooms, comfortable beds, a desk and chair, and a lounge chair. Decor in the common areas is really lovely. The hotel has a great vibe. Breakfast and dinner are included in the rate, as is afternoon fika and all-day tea and coffee. The bar staff are efficient and lovely, making sure everyone is looked after. The location is fantastic. 10 minutes walk from the train station and you can see Örebro Castle from the front steps of the hotel, which fronts the Svartån (river). Close to bars, restaurants, theatre and 20 minutes walk from the open air museum, Wadköping. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are modern and elegantly decorated, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. The food was excellent on all accounts, no complaints from a family of four with different preferences for food. Location - doesn't get better than this, can walk easily within the town, plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and green areas.

Stunning hotel near the Slottet. Very comfortable and peaceful. Great pillows, the doona was not hot (unlike many other hotels). The breakfast was delicious. Best for us - no AC so we had a comfortable quiet nights sleep. We actually slept in until 9am! Dinner was a bonus, a simple but tasty meal.

This hotel is really beautiful, it has helpful staff and our stay was wonderful in every way. We found the ”evening meal concep” excellent, as we were driving through Sweden and wouldn’t have had time to go for a proper dinner. Our little dog also enjoyed his stay!
